In the name of the CIRSE Foundation we would like to sincerely thank all attendees, faculty members and corporate partners for being part of the ECIO 2010.

Despite the unpredictable postponement of the meeting, ECIO 2010 attracted over 1.000 participants. This tremendous success would not have been possible without you.

ECIO 2010 has again provided a unique educational platform for physicians and corporate partners who have a special interest in the fast growing field of Interventional Oncology. This year’s programme clearly demonstrated that Interventional Radiology can offer both well established interventions and many promising new innovations.

The input from different specialties has again been an important asset of the meeting - an element that we will certainly include in the 3rd European Conference on Interventional Oncology in spring 2012, for which preparations have already started.

Once again thank you very much and we hope to see you all again at ECIO 2012. Date and location will be announced shortly.
